Sunset Everlasting was premiered on June 22nd, 2019 by Matthew Meunier and Jake Dudley as a part of MalletLab 2019, and was coached by Dr. Matthew Lau.

The piece is based more off of a series of colors and emotions I had in my head rather than any specific story or meaning. If there was one feeling I felt I could capture with this piece, it was the feeling of loving something so that you’d never want it to leave. When it came time to title the piece, the idea manifested itself to me as a sunset. One that I could hope would last forever.
