The piece was written as a response to Arthur Ganson‘s art installation at MIT in Boston. Particularly his Untitled Fragile Machine of which was built and held together by an intricate design of small moving machinery. The piece aims to capture the intricate nature of such engineering as well as how delicate it can be when compared to its substantial surroundings.
